Why does the status change for contact and invoices ( e.g. lead to customer, unpaid to paid) will not stay updated after manually changing them? I tried this several times and it keeps reverting back to original setting ( e.g. unpaid to paid changes back to unpaid for invoices or lead to customer back to lead for contacts).

Howdy @valbrunpro, this sounds like there may be a caching or syncing issue with your Jetpack CRM setup. In some cases, if you have a caching plugin installed – this can cause some conflict. If you do have one installed, try disabling the caching plugin and updating statuses of your contacts again.

Depending on the specific scenario, there may be some other points where this sync isn’t working as it should be, especially if you are using WooCommerce Sync – we’d like to be able to take a closer look with you to get to the bottom of this. Could you create a support ticket and reference this forum post in your ticket:

Hi Josh thank you for your feedback I tried creating the support ticket like you recommended but it wont allow me to something about not being a customer when I tried to login with my WordPress.com credentials.

My host does the caching and not a particular plugin but my host does have a plugin that allows me to manually clear the cache. My host is SiteGround. Not sure if that makes a difference.

WooCommerce sync seems to be working fine its just this particular issue.

I notice however the WooCommerce sync contacts and invoice are the ones not remaining change when manually changing the status and the contacts that were created in CRM remain changed.

If you’re using Woo Sync within Jetpack CRM, it will continue syncing with WooCommerce. That means if you manually change a contact status in Jetpack CRM, but the status is different in WooCommerce, the status will be changed back to what is in WooCommerce after the next sync. So what you’re experiencing is how Woo Sync is supposed to work.

Can you tell me more about why you’re manually changing those status in Jetpack CRM, instead of using the original status from WooCommerce? What are you trying to achieve?

Once we have more information, we can check if there’s a better solution for you.

The information isn’t correct in CRM its showing unpaid invoices that have been paid already and leads for contacts that are paying customers.

I was hoping to update the information that’s all but it’s really not a big deal. I just notice the manual changes dont stay updated.

There’s nowhere in WooCommerce to update this information it was automatically populated by CRM.

Can you give us an overview of your site setup and process for this?

For example, where are the contacts and invoices being generated — in Jetpack CRM or in WooCommerce?

It sounds like you are receiving a payment, which prompts the need to change the contact and invoice status. How is that payment being received?

    (@valbrunpro)

The payments and contacts were generated in WooCommerce. The payments themselves are a combination of cash and card transactions.

Great, and how are you handling those payments and order statuses within WooCommerce? What is the original WooCommerce order status before someone pays? What order status is that changed to after someone pays, and how are you changing that order status within WooCommerce?

Pending payment then complete once payment is received. I change it manually in WooCommerce once I receive payment

Jetpack CRM’s Woo Sync should automatically sync those WooCommerce order status changes into Jetpack CRM. It sounds like you’re saying that’s not happening though. We’ll need more information so that we can continue looking into this.

Please send screenshots of the following:

    • Jetpack CRM > Settings > WooSync (we need to see all of these settings, as something here may be causing the problem)
    • Jetpack CRM > Settings > WooSync > Store Connections (we need to see that the store is connected and sync is active)

I resolved the issue it was in the settings of WooSync that needed to be adjusted so it can reflect the correct statuses. Once I corrected the settings it automatically changed the statuses to the correct ones. Thank You!!
