    You could create a static front page including the Contact form, as explained here:
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page

    You could also copy the Contact form shortcode into a new Text WIdget in your sidebar.

    Well I don’t use static pages, but customize my index.php. But I will try adding a custom widget and put it in the location that I wanted it to be.

    So I went into functions, created a new sidebar then called the sidebar into my index.php.

    Then I placed the shortcode into the custom widget in the Admin section and the form shows up.
    Only problem now is that it says the information was sent…but I never get the email.

    Could you check if the message appears in the Feedbacks menu, in your dashboard? You’ll want to check the “Spam” tab as well, just to make sure the message wasn’t filtered out as Spam.
