The title should have read “Jetpack dashboard is all blank upon login”. Sorry for that.

    Hi @johnfisherman

Thanks for getting in touch! As a first step, I’d like to rule out any sort of plugin conflict being responsible for the trouble. Could you please disable all of your plugins except Jetpack? Then try testing again to see if the error persists.

If the error is resolved, we’ll know that another plugin is interfering here. You can find out which plugin is the culprit by enabling each plugin one by one and repeating the test after each one.

Please let us know how that works for you, and we can go from there!

    Sooooooo,… I don’t have Jetpack installed.

I wanted to use the uptime and security features of the plugin, but not necessarily install it on my WP instances.

    Is this a thing?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @johnfisherman

OK, I see what you mean. No, in order to take advantage of Jetpack features you do need to install the full plugin or the specific feature plugin. (https://cloud.jetpack.com/pricing?view=products)

If you ONLY wanted to use the uptime and security features, you can install the plugin, but disable all other features/modules to keep things lean.

You can access a list of all Jetpack modules by following this guide:

    https://jetpack.com/support/control-jetpacks-modules-on-one-page/

Once you’re there, you can activate/deactivate any modules you wish.

    Hey,

good to know, I’ll definitely be looking into that module deactivation option.

Thanks a lot for the detailed info, @bruceallen!
