Jetpack doesnt show count of likes anymore

Same issue, Just subscribing to this thread to see if anyone posts a fix.

No like counts, no tweet counts, no sharing counts for any of the “Share this” icons, all of which were previously showing numbers superimposed on the icon.

Thank you for the quick response. I think my problem is solved. By changing the permalinks, the damage was done. Ofcourse, Jetpack couldn′t connect anymore. I′ve restored a back up, so the permalinks got back in the original way. Jetpack was restoring the likes as well, almost perfectly.

No resolution here. And there were no changes to the permalink structure.

I’m also having the same issue – I noticed a few days ago, maybe even a week, that none of my Jetpack share settings were showing any counts and the WordPress likes button just says “loading..” but never loads.
I don’t think I’ve changed anything recently on my site (I’m no computer genius so I don’t have any self coding, etc. on the site), so I’m not sure what the issue is.

If someone could advise that would be greatly appreciated!!

@pjv I had a look at your site, and the problem seems to be caused by caching issues: your site still serves an old version of the Javascript file used to handle sharing counts, however we’ve updated that file in Jetpack 3.3.

You can see the difference between the 2 versions here:

Could you try to flush your site’s cache in your caching plugin, and let me know if it helps?

@thisgirlabroad One of your plugins creates a Javascript error that breaks other elements using Javascript on the page, like the sharing counts or the Likes. Could you try to deactivate the “Floating Social Media Icon” plugin from your site and let me know if it helps?

That was it – but it was Cloudflare caching the js, not a plugin. All fixed now.

Jeremy – I just deactivated “Floating Social Media Icon” plugin and now my WordPress like button is back to normal, however, I still have no counts on any of my social media icons. Any other thoughts?
I’ll contact the plugin authors.

@thisgirlabroad That plugin still appears to be loaded in some areas of your site. Could you try to flush your cache in your W3 Total Cache options after deactivating the plugin, and let me know if it helps?

I just emptied the cache and unfortunately nothing has changed – still no counts on any previous social media icons (however my last two posts that I made after deactivating floating social media icon are fine).

Definitely stumped!

Before, when I posted anything on my site, it would (and still does) automatically share with my Facebook and Twitter (thus, I would be getting at least 1 share for each of those icons under my post). Since I deactivated floating social media icon, it has been showing those shares, but the ones previously and any other shares I might have had have disappeared. At the end of the day, it’s not really a huge deal – I just don’t understand why they aren’t reappearing.

I’m afraid I can’t really help you there. Jetpack sharing buttons only report the numbers coming from each social network API. In your last example, Twitter and Facebook don’t report any shares:
