Jetpack Facebook Like Box has stopped displaying in Chrome. It displays fine in the latest versions of IE, Firefox, Opera, and Safari.

When I look at the Like Box element in Chrome’s built-in console, here are the 2 error messages that I see:

    1. Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

    admin.js:1

    2. SVG’s SMIL animations (<animate>, <set>, etc.) are deprecated and will be removed. Please use CSS animations or Web animations instead.

    html5player-new.js:310

    The website is: https://autopartsofshelby.com

    Any ideas?

    Thank you for your help.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

The Facebook Like Box appears to be displayed properly on my end, in Chrome and in Firefox:

Did you manage to fix the issue by yourself?

    1. Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

That error is caused by the tentblogger-404-repair plugin. It outputs a Javascript file relying on jQuery, admin.js, before jQuery is enqueued on your site. I’d suggest getting in touch with the plugin author to let them know about this issue.

    2. SVG’s SMIL animations (<animate>, <set>, etc.) are deprecated and will be removed. Please use CSS animations or Web animations instead.

    html5player-new.js:310

That notice shouldn’t cause any issues on your site, but if you’d like to remove it, you’ll need to remove the YouTube video currently appearing on your home page. The notice is triggered by that video.

    Thank you, Jeremy.

No, I didn’t fix it on this end. It still doesn’t display in Chrome for me. Maybe I have a Chrome plugin/extension that is affecting it.

I will contact the Tentblogger 404 Repair author.

    Appreciate your help very much!

That’s possible. Try deactivating ad-blocker extensions first, they can sometimes block Social Media widgets like Twitter or Facebook.
