Jetpack fails to proceed after initial installation

    I’ve successfully setup Jetpack on the main self-hosted domain https://valerielittlewood.uk but using the same credentials it fails to proceed (after initial installation) when attempting to setup Jetpack on the sub-domain https://pencilandleaf.valerielittlewood.uk.

    There are no errors message on screen. It simply reverts after a few seconds to the setup screen again:

    “Activate essential WordPress security and performance tools by setting up Jetpack
    By clicking the Set up Jetpack button, you agree to our Terms of Service and to share details with WordPress.com.

    Set up Jetpack”

    Any ideas on what I’m failing to do?

    Resolved.

    DNS propagation was delayed; the URL was unavailable for a few minutes which meant that Jetpack couldn’t connect correctly.
