    Under site health I get the following error:
    “Jetpack has detected an error syncing your site.
    The information synced by Jetpack ensures that Jetpack Search, Related Posts and other features are aligned with your site’s current content.

    Error Jetpack has detected that data is not properly in sync which may be impacting some of your site’s functionality. Click here to start a full sync to align Jetpack with your site data. If you still notice this error after running a full sync, please contact support for additional assistance.”

    I have jetpack installed on my wordpress site at oneshipress.com and that’s working fine. but on my install at oneshipress.com/store, which is a separate wordpress install in a sub-directory, I get a sync error. I don’t know how to fix it. Please help Thank you!

    Hi there

    It looks like your site was fully synced in the last 12 hours. Are you still seeing an error message?

    Hi @drawmyface thanks so much for getting back to me about this. So far twice I have manually initiated a full sync and the error message has gone away within a few hours. Right now it seems to be holding, but I wary that it’s just going to pop back up. I used the jetpack debug tool on my site, and it’s saying everything looks great. I suppose we’ll have to wait and see what happens. If the error comes back I’ll respond here about it.

    Thanks for giving us the update.

    The issue is likely being caused by how Jetpack uses the WordPress cron system. If the issue happens, can you reach out to your host to have them check to see if cron is enabled and working correctly on your site?

    Could you also check your site’s wp-config.php file, and let me know if cron is currently disabled? If it is disabled, you’ll see this bit of code somewhere in that file:

    define( 'DISABLE_WP_CRON', true );

    Please remove this if it’s present.

    Another thing you might try is installing this plugin:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-crontrol/

    … which should let you see if there’s anything wrong with your site’s cron system.

    Thank you @htdat if the error occurs again, I will certain do exactly as you have said, and report back here to see if that fixes it.

    Thank you. I am going to mark this as resolved temporarily. Feel free to reply and mark this as unresolved if the issue happens again on your site.
