Jetpack Infinite Scroll not Working

Do you have this configured on the site right now or have you disabled it? When I navigate to your site and look at the product listings from the main navigation I don’t see any infinite scroll setup and there is just the paging navigation from the Storefront theme.

As @jarretc mentioned, do you have a way to leave this enabled for us for now? If you do enable it what is your setting within Jetpack for infinite scroll? I ask because either option I used here below in Storefront worked for me.

And to clarify as well I was using/testing this on my shop page. I am assuming you were wanting the same thing to happen with any archive page of products?

Either way, let us know if you can re-enable it and what you have it set to. Also, sending your system status could be helpful as well.You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here.

Thnks for the responses both – I have it disabled at the moment as we have a good amount of traffic incoming and as it isn’t working I Don’t want to affect the experience for our users.

When I did activate this – it would work, but only the ‘Load more posts with a button’ – not when user scrolls down (when i select when user scrolls down it adds a button)

However, it does not scroll in the right order, (i.e. page 1 – 2 – 3)

Hi @onoxin,

Thanks for the reply and information. Is there any chance you’d have a staging site that replicates the issue? If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/) for quickly spinning up a new test site.

On the test site I would try activating Storefront itself and then plugin wise only have WooCommerce & Jetpack enabled. Then see if infinite scroll causes issues still. It’d be great if you could help out and run a test like that, let us know what you think.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
