Jetpack install/activation issue

  • Somewhat recent issue:

    – on a clean install of WP 4.1.1
    – install Jetpack
    – try to activate Jetpack with the link that appears under the successfully installed message
    – Jetpack installation restarts (and fails, because the directory already exists from the first install) and still activates

    I think the issue is just the way the inline “activate” link is being coded, it is reinitializing the installation in addition to the activation
