Jetpack javascript slowing down the site speed

Same here. Except mine times out after taking more than 35 Seconds…

This is a known issue, we’ll have it fixed in the next update: https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/pull/16047

You can manually apple the same change listed there if you’d like to fix it now.

I did see that… And I added a code snippet.
It only disappeared once I disabled a few plugins: jetpack was one of them, Events Calendar/Tickets (Modern Tribe) was the other.
Both seemed to be referencing that JS file.

Hm, the snippet may not have been properly added, it definitely works, or it’s possible you may need to clear your site’s cache if you’re using a caching system.

Could you please update the code snip here to update on my site also I really don’t know how to make the code and where to add the code

If you want to use a previous version of Jetpack, you can get the files from https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/jetpack/tags but please note that we do not support it. Hopefully, an update will be released soon.

Another option is to use the WP Rollback plugin and rollback Jetpack to a previous version release without the issue.

This is now fixed in Jetpack 8.7. ??
