    Hi there,

The Jetpack debugger on our end shows an error for your site – it seems to think your site should be connected via HTTPS.

Please go to WP-Admin ->Settings ->General, and make sure the site URL there is using https://. If it’s showing https://, make sure you follow the process at https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/changing-the-site-url/, or whatever process your hosting provider recommends, to change that.

If that setting is correct, please completely disconnect and reconnect Jetpack.

If the next post you publish after doing that still posts to Facebook using https, the problem might be with the opengraph tags.

At the moment it looks like your site is using opengraph tags generated by the Yoast SEO plugin, not by Jetpack. When you install Yoast on your site, Jetpack’s opengraph tags are automatically disabled, so as not to cause conflicts. Please check if it makes any difference if you force Jetpack’s opengraph tags instead. You can find information on how to do that here:

    Update:
The settings are still with https:// as it should be.
But we tried inactivating and deactivating the plugin and at first thought that fixed it, since the first post got right for some reason, but then it started reverting back to https:// again.
I really don’t think it’s Opengraph that is the problem, since it’s the actual URL that is wrong with https:// in the post, which in turn makes it impossible for the images to load and be fetched by opengraph.
Twitter also gets the wrong URL published, but is magically able to fetch its image properly despite our site not supporting https:// yet.

I still see the same errors in the Jetpack debugger.

But we tried inactivating and deactivating the plugin and at first thought that fixed it, since the first post got right for some reason, but then it started reverting back to https:// again.

I asked you to disconnect Jetpack from your WordPress.com account and then reconnect, not to disable and re-enable the plugin. Can you please try that instead.

The next time this happens, can also you please not delete and replace the post on Facebook, so we can take a look at the actual Facebook post to see what’s going on on that end?

I really don’t think it’s Opengraph that is the problem, since it’s the actual URL that is wrong with https:// in the post, which in turn makes it impossible for the images to load and be fetched by opengraph.

That might be so. But it would be good to rule that out, so please try the troubleshooting steps I suggested in my previous reply.
