With jetpack enabled, my theme has some issues.
    If you check this page
    https://gatetoadventures.com/category/photography/
and scroll through it, find a post that has 1 or more comments. For example Boeing 777X first flight. If a post has at least one comment. it messes with the layout and the text 1 comment is overlayed directly with the author name.
If there are no comments everything looks fine. I already contacted the theme author and they pointed me your way. As soon as jetpack is disabled, everything is fine again.

Hm, ok it would be one specific module causing this if so, not the whole plugin.

Would you please narrow that down?

It’s easiest from the All Modules view: https://jetpack.com/support/control-jetpack-features-on-one-page/

    Hi there,

    thanks for the reply.
I disabled all active modules but the issue was still on my page. With all modules deactivated, I went back to plugin settings and deactivated the whole jetpack plugin itself.
After I did that, the issue was gone. As soon as I turn Jetpack back on, the issue comes back.
So it might be the core jetpack module, which cant be disabled. I am not sure how jetpack is built.

Anything else I can do, to narrow it down?

    Hi there,

In case you’re using a commenting plugin (e.g. Disqus) or styling plugin, disable those and check if the issue is resolved.

This is issue is most likely caused by a conflict with another plugin.

    Hi,

i tried disabling the disqus, which didn’t change anything. The styling plugin is related to my theme and I already contacted the theme author. They pointed me towards jetpack…

Please attempt to disable _all_ plugins except Jetpack. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    Tried,
so the only relation I can find is with jetpack. Once I activate jetpack plugin under “plugins” everything is still fine. Once I click on set up jetpack, I acknowledge the connection to wordpress.com and it will show me the page where I can select one of the plans for jetpack (the bottom also offers to go with the free version). Once I am on that page, my frontpage is messed up.

If I just activate jetpack and don’t set it up, my frontpage is still fine.

The front page is messed up while you’re selecting a plan, or it remains messed up after selecting a plan?

If it’s only messed up while selecting a plan, we can definitely look into that, but it’s good to know it’s fine after finishing the setup.

If it remains messed up, that’s a bit trickier, since this is the first I’ve heard of this specifically.

Have you checked with your theme’s support too? https://help.us-themes.com/impreza/

    Hi,

So while I am looking at the plan selection page for Jetpack, my front page gets messed up at that moment and stays that way even after finishing the complete set up of jetpack.

But when I just activate jetpack under WordPress Plugins without starting the setup process, me front page is fine.

Yeah, I already contacted the theme support as I thought initially that would be in their end. They pointed me towards jetpack, maybe it’s a 50/50 thing where both are causing the issue in some way? I don’t know. I am also not sure when the issue occurred initially and if I updated for example the theme or any plugin.

I can do some more testing if you have any other idea what it could be…

Thanks for the support and help so far.

You’re probably right that it’s a direct conflict between the two, but as we don’t own a copy of the theme, it’s a bit difficult to pin down, especially with no other themes affected this way.

Do your theme’s developers have any guesses that might point us in the right direction?
