I am having trouble disabling Jetpack Monitor for a specific domain. The email notifications contain the text, “You are receiving this email because you have activated Jetpack Monitor on your site. Click here to change your settings.” However, the link is broken. Anyone know how I can resolve this?

    More Info:

This particular instance of Jetpack was installed on a WordPress site which is now defunct. The *URL* of that defunct site is still operational though, albeit for a different WP install/website.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Could you post the site URL here, so I can have a look and deactivate Monitor for you?

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes, sorry about the URL. The actual URL that Jetpack is monitoring is:

I’ve deactivated Jetpack Monitor for that site. You should be good to go!

Thank you. May I ask what caused the issue exactly, so I don’t repeat it in the future? Was it because I activated Jetpack Monitor for a WordPress site, then removed the installation, only to have the monitored URL remain active?

That’s exactly it. In the future, I’d recommend disconnecting Jetpack from your WordPress.com account before to remove the plugin, or disconnecting the site from your WordPress.com account later on from here:

or disconnecting the site from your WordPress.com account later on from here:
    https://wordpress.com/sites/

But am I correct that this page only lists sites I’ve setup via WordPress.com–it does not list my Jetpack-enabled non-Wordpress.com sites? If so, that typically won’t help me. To confirm, I could *not* have resolved this current case on my own, correct?

    Thanks again.

That page lists all your sites, WordPress.com sites and connected Jetpack sites. If one of your sites is a Jetpack site, you’ll find a link to disconnect that site from your account.
