JETPACK NEXTGEN conflict – cannot connect to JETPACK with NEXTGEN activated

    I have had to always disable NEXTGEN to connect JETPACK to WORDPRESS.

    Which is always a pain because my gallery settings are reset to defaults every time I reactivate NEXTGEN (not other options, just gallery settings).

    My service provider resolved the conflict between JETPACK and NEXTGEN so now I am able to connect JETPACK to wordpress without deactivating NEXTGEN..

    **** The code change added zlib.output_compression = Off to the .ini.php file.

    I felt the need to start this topic because I wanted to share the solution with others, it took a lot of time and effort to get this resolved – I was amazed it was such a tiny code fix that helped me out..
