    Jetpack Mechanic ??

When you share a post on Facebook, or when Jetpack Publicize publishes a post to your Facebook page, Facebook crawls the page and looks for Open Graph meta tags in the head to build a complete post preview (with an image, title, description, …).

Jetpack will add these meta tags for you, except if you already use another plugin to manage Open Graph meta tags on your site.

I notice that you’re using the “Add Link to Facebook” plugin. That plugin offers options to control the meta tags, so Jetpack Open Graph meta tags are disabled.
I’m not familiar with that plugin, but you can contact the plugin author if you don’t manage to control the image meta tag.

    YOU SWEET GENIUS!!!

I often find it’s something basic that I’m overlooking…in this case an incompletely configured Add Link to Facebook plugin which was interfering with Jetpack. I deactivated the plugin, and things seem to be working again ??

    Thank you sir!

    Hi Jeremy Herve,
Like David I am having many problems with Jetpack as well. Though my issue is that I have used Jetpack and the main Facebook Plugin from facebook with no problem. I went to update jetpack and did a stupid thing of removing the page already in there and then going back to put the same facebook page in and it did not allow me to do so. It only showed my profile and not choices of my pages so I would be able to choose the page again. So my posts I am not seeing post to facebook any longer.

@felixjk007 Since your problem seems completely different from the issue mentioned here, could you please start your own thread here?

    Thank you!

Jeremy Jetpack is not posting to my facebook page. Before the problem was I was unable to choose my facebook page from the list now I am but its not posting, but yet its posting to twitter and Linkedin. This doesn’t make sense. Also the account is correctly linked to the facebook page as it shows it. Please fix.

@gail Could you try to reset your Facebook connection, as explained here:
    https://jetpack.me/support/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook

If that doesn’t help, could you please start your own thread, and give me a few examples of the posts that were not publicized?

    Thank you!
