    Hi
I use Jetpack in my multilingual website which I use Polylang.
the problem is that I can not transtale the email which send from jetpack to subscription visitor?
    for example this text:
    Howdy.

You recently followed this blog’s posts. This means you will receive each new post by email.

To activate, click confirm below. If you believe this is an error, ignore this message and we’ll never bother you again.

I see this text translate on polylong_fr file in plugin langeuge folder bit it doestnot take effect on the email?
is there any way to fix this? or we have to but WMPL if we want use Jetpack?

    Hi @sohrabsd!

By default, that subscription email is sent in the language that matches the Site Language setting on your dashboard’s Settings -> General page.

However, if the person subscribing has a WordPress.com account, then the email will be sent to them in the language they’ve set for that WordPress.com account.

Beyond that, since these emails are sent directly from the WordPress.com servers, there isn’t a way to further customize the language or translation.

No. The emails will use the language you’ve set on your Settings -> General page, unless the subscriber already has a WordPress.com account. Then they will receive the email in their preferred language.

    Hi!
I have a similar problem. Actually I have a bilingual site and when I make a test by registering on Jetpack emailing system, I receive two emails, one in each languages – French and English – for one single post. That’s not possible.

Is there a solution to fix that problem?
Isn’t it possible to receive the emails in the language related to the version of the site on which we registered? I know readers can change language preferences in the WordPress account but that’s not convenient in my opinion.

Many thanks for your help and advices.
    Veronique
