Jetpack prevents block editing (tiled gallery)

    Hi All,

    After the Jetpack Update to 10.2 I can’t edit my pages that contain galleries. It’s only a box coming up to inform about an unexpected errorin the editor. After a look into the error report it turned out that Jetpack is the bad guy. After deactivating JP all pages loaded in the editor … however, no longer in the Tiled Mosaic style, which ís a feature of Jetpack.

    Did anyone experience the same issue or has maybe an idea how to solve it ?

    Hi @bobmatyas , thanks for answering. The website’s URL is but the thing is, if you launch the site it appears absolutely correct.
    The effect that I can’t see the single pages any longer shows up in the WordPress editor. When I try to open a page in edit mode, a dialogue appears and informs about an unexpected error in the editor. Below is, what the error report returns:

    Just updated Jetpack to 10.2.1 but sadly with no effect regarding my issue.

    Hi there

    This kind of error can be caused by a conflict with something else on the site that uses the editor. The quickest way to figure out if something is interfering is to test for a theme or plugin conflict.

    I know it’s less than ideal, but could you please try the following:

    – Temporarily deactivate all the site’s plugins except for Jetpack and clear your browser’s cache.
    – Then try to edit a page again. If it works, then we’ll know that another plugin is conflicting here. You can re-enable your plugins one by one, trying to edit a page in between, until you find the one causing the conflict. You can leave it disabled or reach out to the plugin developer for a fix.

    If disabling plugins doesn’t help, it may be the theme.

    – Temporarily switch your theme to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty. Then try to edit a page again. If it works, then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you can reach out to the theme developer for a fix.

    Let us know how that goes.
