Jetpack Publiciser Issues with Social Media Share Buttons
-
I’m having a fairly new issue with Jetpack’s share buttons to social media. When I attempt to share a post with the attached pic, from my website to Facebook and/or Google+, the attached pic to the shared post is a different pic to the one in the post. In some cases, the pic is one that has been deleted from the library all together.
I noticed this issue after using and deleting a photo slider plugin for a short time. Now that the plugin is deactivated and deleted, some of my posts are still sharing with either an old pic that was linked to the slider, or they seem to be grabbing my website’s header photo, or any other random library photo. Very weird!
In other instances, some posts are shared with the header, but with no content. Others show header “with” content, where they should be be showing the post’s attached pic, rather than the header pic. There are a few that show an arrowed pic option, where you can choose one of 3 random grabbed pics. And then there are other posts that are sharing with no problems.
I’m assuming it’s an issue with Jetpack’s publiciser and open graph metas, but after checking them out, they seem to be okay. But because there is more than one random issue occurring, I have no idea where to look next.
My website is: https://souloftruth.com
Thank you for any suggestions that may help sort out this crazy issue!
Cheers
Julie
