    Hello –

When attempting to add a Facebook / Twitter / Linkedin connection via the Jetpack Publicize settings, we receive the following error message:

-32700: parse error. not well formed

We’ve tried to find a solution via this forum or Google, but none seem to exist. Can you please advise how we should proceed.

    Thanks in advance!!

  • Again… “Error code: -32301” ??

And since I updated Jetpack something went wrong with FB api… it doesn’t show properly the post (no image and title) on the FB page. The title appears indeed as a ‘comment’.

    Take a look here.

…so, don’t disconnect any service in use: you would’t be able to reconnect them ??

I am also getting this on all FB post as of 1am this morning out of no where i know they are working on the unofficial share buttons because the twitter share cuts the title off 75% and people are swapping to text+icon and icon buttons so FB users have the actual old SHARE option of popup box
6 post so far going to be 7 in about 3 minutes i bet

@miloz Would you mind collecting some more information about your site logs, so we can investigate further?

Start by accessing this page in your browser:
    https://newsagenda.it/xmlrpc.php?for=jetpack

Then, download your raw server access logs; if you do not know where to find this data, your hosting provider should be able to help.
In these logs, you will find a line reporting access to the address listed above. Could you copy the whole line and send it to us in a reply to this email?

If you have access to your server error logs as well, it would be useful if you could send us a copy of the logs around the time when you attempted to enable a new Publicize connection.

You can send us the log details via this contact form:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service

@waffenss I replied to your questions here and here.

Got Error code: -32301 and found out that it was because I had ‘Maintenance mode’ activated so it blocked Jetpacks ability to make the ‘Sharing Settings’ work. Disabeled the maintenance mode and all of a sudden Jetpack worked to I could connect social services to my blog

I’m having the Error too, but it works like a charm on another site hosted on the same hosting account.

Will check back here for answers.. ??

It might help us understanding what’s the issue on your site.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

I am also getting the same message!

I am trying to set up jetpack sharing, however on the configure page when i try to set up facebook or any other links i get the message:

”Something which should never happen, happened. Sorry about that. If you try again, maybe it will work.

    Error code: -32301”

I would appreciate any help you have. Many thanks, this is getting really frustrating.

@honesthealthblog Could you give us more information about your site, as I suggested above?

    Hi Jeremy,

I sent off an email to the wordpress support contact form, that also included results from the plugin compatibility test.

However, this morning, it has suddenly started working, I sent a ton of emails of and your colleagues did lots of tests so maybe they fixed something!

    Thanks!
