  • AM HAVING SAME ISSUE

Same issue here. I’ve just removed and reinstalled jetpack but when I try to connect my accounts I get a 10520 error.

federicoponzi, I don’t think if it’s same issue because i can connect my facebook to publicize.

did you check the wordpress.com account you have it linked to and try and disconnect and reconnect? Try logging straight into it and disconnecting it and try again.

I check everything, maybe it’s a problem from jetpack .. I will just wait for a admin response. Thank you.

Is your facebook widget also not working? I’m wondering if it’s related.
Jetpack might be referencing the wrong sdk.js file
I’m getting an error loading https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js?_=1461900819408
So my widget isn’t showing up. I’ll have to go check Publicize.

I think was a problem from jetpack because now it’s working.
    Thanks.

@federicoponzi That 10520 error indicates an issue with your general Jetpack connection. Could you try the following:

    1) Go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard
    2) Click on “My Jetpack” at the top of the page.
    3) Click on “Disconnect Site from WordPress.com” if your site is currently connected to WordPress.com.
    4) Confirm the disconnection.
    5) Click on the Connect button to connect your site to WordPress.com again.

If that doesn’t help, could you please follow the link I posted above to start your own thread?

@mcpace While the Facebook widget does indeed rely on that .js file, Publicize does not. The 2 features don’t have much in common, so one may work while the other doesn’t.

I’m getting an error loading https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js?_=1461900819408
So my widget isn’t showing up.

That file appears to be accessible on my end. Could you make sure you’re not running a browser extension or add-on that blocks access tho that file? Some tracking / privacy add-ons can have this effect, and so do some ad blockers.

If that doesn’t help, could you follow the instructions I posted above to start your own thread?

    Thanks!

Thanks @jeremy. That error cleared this morning by itself and the facebook widget is showing again.
