JetPack Publicize fails silently when Video Thumbnails is enabled

    First off, thanks for Video Thumbnails! It saves me time every time I embed a video in my posts. However, I want to give you a heads-up that I’m having some kind of plugin conflict with it and JetPack: JetPack’s Publicize feature fails silently when I publish a post with an embedded video, if Video Thumbnails is enabled on my site. I narrowed this down by disabling all other plugins.

    I’ve been working with the JetPack developer, but we’re a bit stumped and open to input on what might be going on. It may have something to do with OpenGraph tag generation; or not! For now, I’ve disabled the plugin on my site. ??

    I don’t think it’s related, as you experienced issues with Twitter as well, and Twitter doesn’t use Open Graph Meta tags.

    Switching other plugins off didn’t help, neither did switching to a different theme.

    It’s also worth noting that I couldn’t reproduce the issue on my own site; Video Thumbnails and Jetpack seem to work well together on my end. That made the whole thing even more complicated to debug, as it seems limited to Graham’s site ??
