JetPack publish doesn't use pretty permalinks?

    That’s correct; Jetpack uses shortlinks instead of full permalinks. If you use a URL shortening service like the WP.me Shortlinks module or WP Bitly, Publicize will use those links. But if you don’t use such services, it will fallback to WordPress’ default shortlinks, the numerical permalinks.

    That’s something we plan on changing in a future Jetpack release. You can follow our progress here:
