    Jetpack will activate***, but when I click on Settings, I just get a page with the green Jetpack image but the white space where all the settings should be is 99 percent blank (There is the outline of ONE check box at the top, but no text next to it, and no other settings.) This check box sits next to where the “Bulk Actions” box would normally appear (but doesn’t). And, there’s nothing displayed under that first check box.

    I’ve compared the “Page Source” output of what’s happening on our problem Jetpack site with another install I have at home of WP 4.0 with Jetpack. I can plainly see that the Jetpack settings page source text ENDS at about halfway down the page on our problem site, whereas on the working install, I can see the other half of the page source info (and, of course, I can see all the configurable options on the actual settings page).

    In other words, most of the html/script info is missing from the Jetpack settings screen on the problematic site.

    Test you can do: If you open your Jetpack settings page and then look at that page’s source code, look for these lines:

    <th class="check-column"><input type="checkbox" class="checkall"></th>
    									<th colspan="2">

    On our problem site, that’s where page source code ends.. On my working site, there’s tons more html code and scripting which resolves to text/checkboxes on the settings page, of course.

    What could be causing the Settings page not to have a full rendering of code?

    I’ve deactivated all my other plugins – no change. I’ve deactivated/removed Jetpack and reinstalled it. No change. Ran the compatibility tool — no problems noted.

    ***The only oddity I’ve noticed that might come into play is that when I first go to activate the Jetpack plugin via my WordPress.com login, the page goes blank (the run once admin.php activate url) and never really returns to an “Activated” screen. It just sits there. If I reload the blank “Activate” screen, I’m returned to the main Jetpack page that says I’m already activated and I’m ready to go, etc. I’m wondering if it’s not totally cycling through the activation process somehow?

    Here’s the visual output of my Jetpack settings page on the problem site. I’ve annotated it, as you’ll see:

    Blank Jetpack Settings Page Save For One Check Box

    Here’s the truncated source code from the Jetpack Settings page. What you’re looking at is the last part of the source code I get:

    This Is The Last Part Of The Source Code On My Jetpack Settings Page

    Thanks for any help for this weird issue.
