Jetpack Share still sharing even though disconnected

  • Hi, I noticed that my jetpark automatic shares were decreasing dramatically. I only have it connected to Instagram and Facebook. And yet it thinks it is still publishing to others. So instead of using 1 share allocation, I am am suddenly down 3, sometimes more, with each post I have published since the new year. Including those posts I indicate are not to be published to socials.

    I have checked my social connections, those I want on are connected. Those off are not connected. But I can’t find how to fix this. And have looked through documentation and find nothing relevant.

    I am not on a paid plan, as can’t afford it, so losing these connections is sad.

    I hope someone can assist.

    Hello. Thank you for the fast reply. I am aware that it is wordpress.com. Jetpack directs me there, either through the post itself – where I can choose to publish to connections, as well as through Jetpack Settings Sharing.

    So is there a way to alter my share connections on Jetpack? As I am suspecting, given your answer, that this problem has nothing to do with wordpress.com.

    I have tried multiple times to find a way to update Jetpack itself and so far have not been successful. Is the only way to connect my social accounts through wordpress.com to Jetpack? And if so, why doesn’t my changing the connections on wordpress.com alter Jetpack’s publishing?

    Or is there a way to change social accounts on Jetpack? In which case, please tell me how as I am reasonably computer savy and finding no way.

    PS. my Jetpack is up to date with its updates.
