Hello, i cannot automatically share posts from my website https://www.calnews.it to my social accounts using Jetpack social.
I used to do it (and i still can do it on another website, with another Jetpack and social networks accounts), but now it doesn’t work anymore.
If i go on Jetpack social setting page, i see that my social accounts are connected, but if i go on the website new post page, i see that the checkboxes of my social accounts (on the right) are not checkable. I can only write the text to share in the text box, but i cannot choose the social network. If i post on the website, the post is not automatically shared on linked social accounts.
I don’t understand which is the problem.
    Help me please.
    Thank you.

    Hi @calnews02

We’ve recently introduced changes in Jetpack Social.

If you’re a casual user, you can continue to make up to 30 social shares per month for free, but if you share more than 30 times per month, you can upgrade to the new Basic plan. Looking at your sharing history, I can see that you have hit the 30-share limit.?

You can check our [FAQ page](https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-social-plans-frequently-asked-questions/) for more information, but if you still have questions, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help!

So…you took a feature that used to be free and now are trying to cash in on it. Bad form. And please, spare me the “But you get 30 a month free” justification for ‘ungifting.’ Y’all had to know you were going to alienate some users and didn’t much care.

Yes, this sucks big time. Pricing is crazy too. Not gonna pay 120$/year to automatically share my posts on Twitter. I’d rather do it by hand or find another extension (any suggestion ?).

    Hello all,

Jetpack’s social auto-sharing feature, formerly known as Publicize, has been free since it was first released 10 years ago. During that time, it rarely received any significant updates, and the features that have been added were only available with a paid plan.
    ?
With over 1 million posts shared per day, we’re excited to start giving our sharing feature the time it deserves. We now have a dedicated team working full-time to take auto-sharing to the next level, along with several other planned features, collectively known as Jetpack Social.

We understand it’s never easy to begin paying for something you have used for free, but we’re committed to improving the product and the reach it has, and to do this, we need to begin charging for the product so we can invest the resources needed to make these changes.
    ?

Yeah, 120$/year to be able to share posts on Twitter & co, not gonna happen, guys. Sorry.
