jetpack social: Invalid/missing blog nonce

    Whenever I try to set up a second account for sharing in addition to Facebook, I get the error message “Invalid/missing blog nonce”.

    Unfortunately, the internet is currently full of this error message and it seems to be something fundamental that automattic is obviously not helping to solve?

    I’ve cleared my cache, I’ve tried another browser, and I’ve verified I’m connected to Jetpack. I’ve tried disabling a few of the other plugins I have. Nothing seems to work. Not sure what else to try.

    Hi there, @saarfuchs,

    Thanks for your patience and for bearing with us; we’re working on a backlog of support requests at this time, and we generally answer in the order received.

    It seems like we have a tiny glitch that’s spreading around. We have alerted our developers, who are investigating further.

    In the meantime, could you try the following to see if that fixes the problem?

    • Log out of your site and log back in.
    • Disconnect Jetpack?and reconnect it.
    • Open the Jetpack Social connection page in a new tab and try adding a connection.

    Hello @saarfuchs,

    Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
