Hi. My Jetpack Stats have not updated my Followers counts in 4 Days, except I’m still receiving new follower notifications so I know it is inacccurate.

Jetpack has been showing me that I have 235 Followers. The last follower to be counted in my Jetpack is @johnkraft on Dec 4. However, I’ve received these new follower notifications since then: romanrajib, Karen and Trevor Blake, Black Rabbit Tea Lady, MyGoFunnel, euroted, Savs, jko961, etc. So I’m expecting my accurate total Followers number to be 240+.

I have cleared my cache – both browser cache and SiteGround cache. I’ve disconnected and re-connected Jetpack from my WordPress account. And nothing has worked. Please advise.

    Hi Pepper

I checked your account, and those new followers you mentioned are actually on your other site, which is on WordPress.com, but has the same name (Pepper Valentine).

    Hope that helps!

Hi Dan, thank you. I see what you mean now. I can toggle between those 2 sites in my WordPress Admin (one is .com and the other is .org) and the followers are different. How do I stop that? I’ve moved to .org (the one with 236 followers now) so I don’t want anymore traffic on the .com version (the one with 16 followers now). It’s weird because these new followers don’t count as followers on my .org stats, but when they Like a post, it does count on my .org stats. I’d like all the follows and activity on my .org site only.

    Hello Pepper,

Basically, they’re still two sites. On our log, it looks like that you moved followers from your .com site to your self-hosted site.

What we suggest here is that you mark your .com site as Private or Coming Soon under, and suggest your visitors to go to your current self-hosted site.

You can do that here https://wordpress.com/settings/general/

    Thank you that’s a good idea. ??
