    Hi @joseadrianpe

Can you check the stats on the site now, and see if they are correct?

    Yes, they are now back!

Just wondering how did this happen? I did not have access to the wordpress account that was connected. When I setup the development environment, I was given access to their CPanel, did the backup and installed it on another server. Was that enough to shift the relationship between the domain and the “blog id” I see mentioned in other topics?

I do remember activating the akismet plugin but again, I didn’t have access to the wordpress.com account that was connected for that site so I am not sure how everything happened.

Thank you again for your help!

    Hey @joseadrianpe,

Site stats (and other Jetpack-specific data like subscribers and settings) are tied to the unique blog_id assigned to your site when you connect Jetpack. You can find your blog_id by searching your site’s source for blog:.

When you clone a site without disconnecting Jetpack, the new site gets created with the existing blog_id in the source, which confuses our system. You can read details about this in our documentation here:

    Does this help?

I accidently started up a dev site and my stats on primamry site are now gone.
    Primary site: sharkcoasttactical.com
    dev site: sharkcoast.codestages.com

I have jetpack disabled on the dev site now.

Can you reconnect the original stats

    Hi @bcaa8ra

I’ve fixed your stats for you. In future, could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?
