I just upgraded to the latest jetpack. Since I upgraded, my stats option is gone. If I go to the jetpack dashboard, I see the configuration and can save changes, but that’s it. The stats menu is gone, the stats box on the toolbar is gone, and I’m stumped. The url DOMAIN/wp-admin/admin.php?page=stats now gives me a “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” message.

    Any ideas?

  • @MyDreamDinZ: It looks like there are a couple of things going on. In testing your blog, it has slow response times from our servers at WordPress.com. This, along with the site stats page being fairly data intensive, will combine for a slow page load time for your site stats. It may take longer than average for the site stats to fully load.

@tim Moore Thank you for your reply it helped me to understand but tell me one thing i am using W3 Total Cache will there be any problem with that ?
actually sometimes my site loads faster than my avg. speed (i.e 10-15 sec.) but sometimes it take more than 25 sec. to response will it affect the Jetpack Stats ?

W3 Total Cache sometimes has incompatibilities with Jetpack, though not always.

As I mentioned previously, your host is responding very slowly, which will cause timeouts when requests are sent to our servers at WordPress.com to get your stats data. You’ll need to talk to your host to resolve response time issues.

ok i got it all of these are because of the host . so i have planned to move my site to Hostgator with a business plan. will it be sufficient for me because i am also planning to to install buddypress(actually currently i have installed it) just some code and configuration is needed . my question is do i need a dedicated server for this of the host provider i have choose is OK for that ?

There is obviously an issue with Jetpack Site Stats. It has worked for over 2 years on my site but for the past month does not work. Page hangs. What was changed recently which may have caused this?

What the heck, no fix for this thing? Its broken for me as well… Just frustrating.

My Jetpack stopped working after the most recent WP and Jetpack updates. I already deactivated then reactivated Jetpack, as well as logged out and back into my wordpress.com account. If I try to load the stats, it just hangs as it keeps trying to load. Help!

Jetpack and W3 Cache loaded together are breaking my site. If I activate both, my site does not load. They work fine together on another site of mine so it must be a theme or plugin combination issue.

Anyone figure this out, please post.

After using Site Stats for 3 years, does not work anymore. Just the hour glass circling producing nothing. Frankly i do not like to install Jetpack, I just need Site stats and now that it does not work anymore with the latest WP version, it might be time to just uninstall the fat Jetpack. Big disappointment

Same problem here – it just hangs with the little swirly logo sitting on the page. Used to work just fine.

I don’t have any cache plugins installed.

I was able to get mine working. I figured it was one of the other plugins causing it to malfunction. Because of the latest WordPress update, one of my plugins, as it turned out, was not compatible with the new update, causing Jetpack to act up. So I deactivated all plugins, then one by one, re-activated them. When I found the plugin that caused the Jetpack problem, I just deactivated that one. In your case, it may even be more than one. You might find out through trial and error. Good luck!
