Jetpack Subscription Email Plugin

Hello,

I installed jetpack to use the subscription email plugin. It works with the default post so when I post something new using the post tool I will get an email. It doesn’t work with the custom post type that we built in class. When I post something new with the custom post type, I will not get an email.

What do I add to our custom post type to make the jetpack plugin work?
