Jetpack Subscription Form Protection?

    Does Jetpack’s blog subscription form widget and comment form (with follow options for posts + comments on the specific post) protect from spambots? There is no way to add a CAPTCHA, so we want to ensure the forms prevent spambots from submitting email addresses, which could result in our server getting blacklisted. I’m assuming the forms use Akismet but want to be doubly sure all precautions are being taken to prevent the forms from being abused. Thank you!

    Hi there

    There isn’t a built-in way to prevent spambot submissions, but as you mentioned, the forms are integrated with Akismet, so as long as you have an Akismet plan in place, your forms will be protected from spam.
