Jetpack subscription – where emails come from?

    Trying to get to the truth of a topic. I have someone telling me that I shouldn’t use Jetpack Subscription functionality for my several thousand subscribers as this is a problem for my hosting. That the number of emails my host sends out will be limited and not all my subscribers will get notification. I thought the notifications were delivered by WordPress, and not my site via my hosting. Can someone clarify?

    If you’re using Jetpack for your subscriptions, those emails are all sent from WordPress.com’s email delivery system and not from your site or server.

    Perfect, that’s what I was thinking. I use Jetpack’s subscription functionality. And that was the answer that I was hoping for.
