Jetpack Subscriptions sending out old posts

    I’ve seen this thread before, perhaps a couple years old, but this problem apparently still exists. Running the latest version of WordPress, latest version of Jetpack, etc…and every day around 4pm, I will get a blast of subscription notifications for old posts. Between 4:42pm and 5:12pm today, I probably got about 20 notifications in my e-mail for posts dating back 2 years or more. Because the bursts of notifications happen and certain times of the day, I have to assume something [else] is triggering it, but what I have no idea. Perhaps if I knew how the subscriptions feature worked I could narrow it down but I don’t.

    I am having this problem too. Old irrelevant posts are being sent out and subscribers are getting irritated. Deactivating did not help. Someone help!

    Could you let me know what other plugins are currently active on your site, so I can try to reproduce the problem?

    Deactivating did not help.

    @vidyut If deactivating didn’t help, it’s most likely because the emails are not sent by Jetpack Subscriptions. Could you post a screenshot of one of the emails here so I can take a look? You can use https://snag.gy/ to share screenshots here.
