Jetpack Tiled Galleries module not loading pictures

    When you click on an image to expand it, you see a blank screen. The url changes as if it’s displaying a specific picture but it’s not visible. If you refresh the page, it works.

    So in order to go from a tiled gallery to a single picture you have to click a picture then refresh the page.

    The gallery has worked without a hitch in the past. Unfortunately I’m not sure when it stopped working, after a wordpress update or jetpack update. It was just brought to my attention.

    I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins, my theme is WooThemes Canvas, but like I mentioned it’s worked perfectly since the site launched.

    It never fails – As soon as I post a support ticket, the solution is found.

    It’s a browser issue.

    Chrome V30.0.1599.69 doesn’t like something.

    To rule out the theme or other plugins as interference, I tested with the default theme (Twenty Thirteen) using WordPress 3.6.1 and Jetpack 2.5 on Chrome 30.0.1599.69, and clicking on tiled galleries worked in all of my tests. I tried with carousel on and off.

    What you need to do next is to try to pinpoint exactly where the trouble is happening and rule out interference from other plugins and the theme you’re using. Based on your description, it sounds a little more like something interfering with carousel than tiled galleries to me. But you should do some testing to try to figure it out.

    Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
    * does it work if it’s a regular gallery and not a tiled gallery?
    * does it work if the carousel in Jetpack is turned off?
    * does it work if all other gallery or image related plugins are temporarily turned off?
    * does it work if you temporarily switch to the default theme Twenty Thirteen?
