Jetpack Tiled Galleries – Partial Images

I turned on the Tiled Gallery module of JetPack on my development site yesterday and I’m getting some funny results with the images. Although they’ve all uploaded, some have a grey area at the bottom where the rest of the image should be.
Looks like a problem when the image was uploaded, but as I have no control over that I don’t know what to do to resolve the problem
