Jetpack Twitter Widget worked once – now stuck on Error

  • When I first configured Jetpack it showed “Error: Twitter did not respond. Please wait a few minutes and refresh this page”. I refreshed a little bit later and it worked. The next morning I checked again and it was stuck on the “Error: Twitter did not respond. Please wait a few minutes and refresh this page”.

    Ever since (a week or two), the page has been stuck on:
    “Error: Twitter did not respond. Please wait a few minutes and refresh this page”

    How can I fix this? I’m not using Super Cache and have the Symple Business Theme installed. This piece is used in my footer to show tweets.
