My site has been connected with Jetpack for years. Today Jetpack wouldn’t load stats and wouldn’t load my services page. I’ve followed all the troubleshooting tips, disconnecting and trying to reconnect, deactivating and reactivation, uninstalling and reinstalling – all result in an error message “Site connection failed. Please try again.” I’ve tried Jetpack’s debugging tool and it just says Unknown error.

    Thank you.

    Hi @madisonslibrary

Thanks for reaching out, and I appreciate all the troubleshooting you’ve done so far! I took a look, and from our end, your Jetpack connection appears to be working correctly. However, I did notice that your site has security measures in place that limit access to the xmlrpc.php file. While Jetpack can connect through an alternate endpoint, this could still affect certain features.

To better understand the issue, could you share a screenshot of the error message you’re seeing? You can create screenshots using these instructions and share the link in a reply here.

Additionally, if you’re still unable to reconnect, you might try temporarily allowing access to xmlrpc.php and testing the connection again. Let me know how it goes, and I’d be happy to help further!
