Since the 23rd June, a notification from Jetpack keeps popping up on my WordPress Dashboard every time I login.

The notification says that my Jetpack plugin needs updating. And the notification itself has an ‘Update’ button there for me to click. However, I have not pushed that button, because this notification appears to be incorrect.

When I check my plugins, all of them, including Jetpack (version 12.2.1) are up to date. In addition to that, there are no alerts by WordPress admin itself as to any plugin updates being due.

Plus, multiple Wordfence scans have not alerted me to any plugins at all needing updating on my website.

Lastly, when I check the Jetpack www.ads-software.com page, it says that the last update was on the 14th of June (to version 12.2.1).

The only place that is alerting me to update Jetpack is this single notification (by Jetpack) that keeps cropping up on my WordPress Dashboard everytime I login to my WordPress admin backend.

How do I get rid of this notification from popping up every time I log in?
