Jetpack wp.me go to wrong permalink

    I’ve set /%postname% as my default permalink

    However my wp.me links in jetpack seem to go to /?p=123 and this permalink doesn’t redirect to my preferred one

    So I’d like to a) get any other permalinks to redirect to my preferred (which happens on all my other sites)
    and b) get wp.me to redirect to the preferred permalink instead of the post ID one

    Here’s an example: wp.me/p42CT1-4PH

    I don’t have this issue on any of my other sites. I’ve changed my theme recently and wondered if this could be the issue
