Jigoshop & Premium Shipping issues

    Hello Folks-

    I performed updates today and it didn’t go well.
    Jigoshop-Ecommerce 2.1.15 was installed OK apparently and Premium Shipping 2.0.8 never updates, stays 2.0.7.

    -Jigoshop-Ecommerce 2.1.15: Upon re-confirming all the settings, saving the payment tab throws the following errors (leading path omitted), though the settings appear to stick.

    I worked on it for hours, reinstalling WP 4.9.7, uploading a fresh copy of JS 2.1.15, disabling all other plugins, changing themes, etc…

    -Premium Shipping 2.0.8: No errors, said update completed, the hash of the directory changed, but never updated. Upon choosing the shipping method in the cart it was throwing the following error and never progressing to check out:
    Error occurred while updating cart: Premium Shipping – There was an error during calculating rate, please try again.

    I’ve since uploaded the previous directory (before the hash change), the shipping method works now and the checkout works. Version 2.0.8 is no longer offered though.

    Any thoughts?

  • The Premium Shipping plugin should have an update to 2.0.9 pending within minutes.
    As for the errors with 2.1.15 – does your active theme have a jigoshop/admin directory inside it? If so, please remove that folder.

    Thanks for the response, Marcin.
    The current doesn’t have a jigoshop/admin directory inside it. Currently using Twenty Seventeen, stock. Plan on using catch-responsive-jigoshop or one of the others y’all make available. The only jigoshop dirs they have is jigoshop/layout.

    I’ll check tomorrow if I’ll be able to update to Premium Shipping 2.0.9 tomorrow or next day & check back with ya.

    I checked the site, it shows Premium Shipping 2.0.7 with 2.0.8 available, no 2.0.9.
    Orders are able to process currently so I’m skeptical about trying 2.0.8 again as it failed last time. Have others had issues with 2.0.8 and are others seeing the 2.0.9 available?

    On the theme side, I’m gonna work on one of the jigo child themes to see how that works out.

    I haven’t updated yet, but Premium Shipping for Jigoshop shows a 2.1 update available. I’ll be updating before days end so I’ll report back.
