Jigoshop & Premium Shipping issues

I performed updates today and it didn’t go well.
Jigoshop-Ecommerce 2.1.15 was installed OK apparently and Premium Shipping 2.0.8 never updates, stays 2.0.7.-Jigoshop-Ecommerce 2.1.15: Upon re-confirming all the settings, saving the payment tab throws the following errors (leading path omitted), though the settings appear to stick.

I worked on it for hours, reinstalling WP 4.9.7, uploading a fresh copy of JS 2.1.15, disabling all other plugins, changing themes, etc…
-Premium Shipping 2.0.8: No errors, said update completed, the hash of the directory changed, but never updated. Upon choosing the shipping method in the cart it was throwing the following error and never progressing to check out:
Error occurred while updating cart: Premium Shipping – There was an error during calculating rate, please try again.I’ve since uploaded the previous directory (before the hash change), the shipping method works now and the checkout works. Version 2.0.8 is no longer offered though.
Any thoughts?
