JJ SwfObject File Not Found Display Alternative Content

    I’m evaluating the JJ SwfObject plugin as an alternative to hardcoding the required Flash html. The plugin deals with the issue of Flash not being installed or supported. However, I had hoped that the plugin would also solve the problem of what to do when the .swf file cannot be found.

    Perhaps I’m not utilising it correctly – can anyone explain how to use it (or another plugin?) to replace the empty (e.g. 500x500px) white space with a notice saying for example “This content has been removed or cannot be found.”?

  • I’d like to serve up a static image if the flash fails.

    sc img=”pathToMyImage.jpg” would be great. can it be done?
