This happened in more than one wp installation.

Waht say the log of the job ?

    Thread Starter Fahad

    (@plaagro)

No log for this error I only get
“Job “Job with ID 2” has started, but not responded for 10 seconds”
No backups have been started after that.
    Cron backups seems OK though.

I’m getting the same error when just updated to the last version 3.1.4..

I’m having the same problem. New WP site, new plugin install…have now deleted.

1st time through, it “worked,” but 193mb backup downloaded as 46mb and I got a “password protected” message when trying to view back-up, so tried running again…and the fun began.

    Sigh…

Do I need to find another way to backup my websites?!!!

For all the other people above getting the same error..
Did any of you set a backup destination?

Backup will produce that error when there is NO “Job Destination” checked

    Daniel Hüsken

    (@danielhuesken)

    (@shmk)

    Any news about this error?

I’m getting it on WordPress 4.0.1 and BackWPup 3.1.4

    Daniel Hüsken

    ShMk

    (@shmk)

In the meantime, are there any previous version already compatible with WordPress 4.0.1 and not affected by this error, to safely downgrade?

You can try the old versions, but Dropbox hase chand his ssl version and need changes.
