Job Alerts – emails not send

Depending on who you are using as your Hosting Provider the email is handled by the Normal WP email handler.

If you have a large base of users…the reasons for mail handing being stopped may be your host.

In this case I would suggest installing and using mail plug-in from Mandrill.

Email functionality is working and tested with WordPress version 4.1 and Job Manger Version 7.21 – Please upgrade both.

I have the most recent version of wordpress and job manager.

I have contact form 7 set up and sending emails with smtp configuration set up with WP-Mail-SMTP plugin.

I set all email fields in job manager with the same address set up on the contact form.

Please advise.

Hi Thomas, same issue here. I don’t have anything like contact form 7 set up though. When a job is applied for, the jobman admin gets an email but the applicant doesn’t.

Jonnyirish – Job Manager does not send emails to the applicant only the Admin Recruiter or Job Manager who is hailing the jobs/applicant process.

This is something we will be adding in a the future.

flashmarketingsolutions – you have not fully described what your issue is ?

Please provide specifics – What Version of WordPress do you have installed and what version of Job Manager do you have installed and link URL to the site you are having issue with.
