Job Board Website Migration

  • Hi Help Needed,

    I was unable to find the answer on the forum but hope you can assist. We have a job board website that we want to completely redesign. Don’t like the theme, plugins way it works etc. However we have 70 candidates and numerous employer accounts as well as uploaded resumes and jobs. Is there a way to download and then upload these accounts and jobs from the current website to the new version without losing data?

    The backend of the website currently is a complete mess.

    Is it worth designing the new site on Local and migrating it over to the existing site? I’m not sure if the candidates, employers and jobs data would be retained?

  • Whether a migration is possible depends primarily on how the data is currently stored. Apparently you are using a theme that is specifically tailored to this topic: Careerfy.     Only when it has been clarified how to export the data can you think about how you can reuse it in a new website.
