    Hello,

I tried to find an answer, but haven’t been able to find anything yet.

I am creating a job board for a client, and this plugin works great! However, the [job] shortcode is only listing jobs when the filters are turned off. If I don’t have filters and just have the list of jobs it works fine, but as soon as I add the filters back in no jobs show up and I can’t find them anywhere – even hidden in the code. I’m not sure what else to check. I’ve uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it. I’m working on getting a staging site set up so I can test the theme, but I really don’t think that’s it.

    Help is appreciated ??

    Hi @lieslharr,

Did you check for conflicting plugins? And good instincts on checking the theme — that’s actually a really common cause of issues with WP Job Manager.

I’m working on getting a staging site set up

Many hosts provide a staging service, where you can do testing without affecting the live site. You can ask your host about this. If they don’t give you a staging site, you could try WP Staging or Duplicator:

Let us know what you find.

    Cheers.

    Hey Jen,

I got the staging site updated (I was waiting on my coworker who had access that I didn’t have to get it going).

It looks like it is a conflict with the theme… I know you can’t offer direct programming advice, but is there anywhere you would suggest I start looking for what is conflicting? It’s only when I try to show the filters on the main Job Board page, everything else seems to work fine.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey @lieslharr,

I’d actually recommend that you ask your theme’s author or their support team to help you identify why there’s a conflict. They’ll know their code better than anyone else.

    Good luck, and nice troubleshooting!
