Job “xxx” has started, but not responded for 10 seconds. (multisite)

When I start a backup job on my multisite i get the following error:
Job “xxx” has started, but not responded for 10 seconds.
Although the progress bar is not shown, a backup file is generated.
From the tab icon in my browser i can tell that it is waiting for the server to answer. I tried different browsers and deactivated all other plugin but got the same result.
I can’t rely on backup files that were generated with an error message.
I only get this error on multisite. On single site it runs smooth as always.
