    Hi,

When I upgrade the plugin to 1.3.6 version. It breaks the [jobs] listing page and did not load jobs.

I have troubleshot and disabled other plugins to check the conflict. But, the issue is not resolved. It seems the plugin has some problems. I am using jobify theme.

As I restore to previous version, everything is fine.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It is a job permission issue, as [jobs] page is not loading jobs issue solved in the new version.

@helpfuljobs – In the admin dashboard, go to Job Listings >> Settings >> Job Visibility and de-select all options in each of the boxes. This makes it so that non-logged in users can view the jobs. I have no idea why this has been enabled by default to restrict visibility!

@mattapex thanks, in 1.36 i was not getting an option of having none selected/ deselect all, it was forcing me to have atleast one option selected, that was the main problem i had.

@helpfuljobs I had that initially too in 1.36 but then realised I could hold CMD down and de-select options, and this seemed to work. There were still the other issues though, so it’s a good job the 1.36.1 update has resolved those too.

@helpfuljobs you are right it is forcing you to select at least one option. It is a new issue and bug in the updated version.

Please @jaseworkerbee fix this visibility issue also in the new version.

@shahidirfan100 I don’t work for WP Job Manager, I’m just a regular punter but I managed to fix this by going to the visibility settings and holding Ctrl and pressing space to make sure none of the user types are selected and then press save.

For some reason Editor was preselected in the update.

    Hope that helps.

I’m also seeing this issue of the message, “Sorry, you do not have permission to browse job listings.”

I’ve tried holding Ctrl & deselecting the default user. It will NOT allow me to have “no value”.

    This needs a fix ASAP!

    UPDATE: 21 June @ 12:19

I had to log in via Safari to make it work (was using Brave/Chrome). Holding down CMD (on Mac) worked.

The new version 1.36.2 fixes this issue. Just click update in your plugins page.

I also have the same issue. But, I have downgraded it to the lower version. However, the plugin status is showing that there will be an automatic update again in few hours

Please does anyone know how I can stop the automatic update of the WP Job Manager Plugin? I had already added some of the new features previously by myself. I just want the old version of the plugin as it is. Please I need some one to show me how I can stop the automatic update. Please help. Thank you in advance.

@lindaomid the most recent update removed the “Job Visibility” tab which removed the issue competely.

Thank you so much. Please do you know how to stop plugin from updating automatically? I try as much as possible to run away from third-party plugins because of issues like this.

@lindaomid in the plugins are, there should be a link to disable auto-updating. I think though, some can push updates without you needing to do anything.

Thank you for your response. I don’t know where to do that in the plugin.

    Hi @lindaomid ,

You can disable auto updates from plugins page, please see screenshot: https://d.pr/i/wa6ZcM

Thank you for your time everyone. I have resolved the issue.
