I have IIS sites, (I manage 26 of them actually), and all run BackWPup.

Only my old job (original job) works. Neither of the two new default jobs will run, (either the files or the database). It gives me this error

“Job “Database Backup” has started, but not responded for 10 seconds. Please check information”

I have the ‘enable IIS compatibility’ box ticked, and did try unticking it, but the jobs will not run either from the access files location, or from the home page. This applies to version 5.0.4 and 5.0.5. Thanks for adding the .zip option, I did need that.

Also, as I said I can run the old job, but cannot edit it. I have them all set to manual only, but once I run it once, following the 5.0.4, or 5.0.5 updates, it shows a next run the following day. I hope it doesn’t do that, because I don’t need them to run that often, only monthly.

    Hi,

Thanks for sharing the details. The error message you’re seeing typically happens when the backup process is interrupted or cannot start correctly. You can refer to this guide for troubleshooting steps: https://backwpup.com/docs/job-has-started-but-not-responded-for-10-seconds/.

Since you’re managing multiple IIS sites and experiencing this across different versions, there may be additional factors at play. If the issue persists after following the guide, feel free to reach out to us directly so we can investigate further.

Appreciate your patience, and glad to hear the ZIP option was helpful!

This just started with the new version of BackWPup. 5.04. And it’s the same issue with all sites, so I really do expect it’s a problem with the program itself.

Nothing happens at all when using the Backup Now button at the top of the settings page, no logs are created. Neither of the default options will run from the Access To Jobs.

Why does the old backup job that I have always used and which was set up previous to this new update still run, but none of the other options will.

I can give someone access to my own private site if that helps. Let me know how to do that safely.

Also, just tried loading 5.0.6 on my own site and it will not load. It creates a server error. This occurred for many of the sites for 5.0.5.
