Hi my visitors are unable to join Zoom webinar in the browser. I’ve been troubleshooting this for a couple of hours now and still no luck resolving the issue.

It was working fine until your recent updates.

I’ve recreated my Server-to-Server and SDK just in case and followed your guide in the documentation step-by-step and can confirm everything has been added correctly.

I’ve disabled all third-party plugins and tested it again and still no luck.

Everytime I try to join in browser I get “Joining meeting timeout.” “Fail to join the meeting.

Could you please assist with this as it is urgent as I am running mulitple Zoom Webinars and not all my students have the Zoom app installed.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Forgot to mention, after recreating SDK and Server-to-server auth. I recreated my Zoom Webinar/Meeting in the Course builder and saved it. It then got added to my Zoom Calendar and tried joining the meeting again and still no luck. It was all on the same Zoom account and the meeting wasn’t editted or delete after I created it.

    Hello,

Recently our dev team included updated version of the eRoom plugin where SDK was also updated. So, please kindly make sure that you updated eRoom plugin to the latest version

Hi, that was the first thing I checked. My plugin is on the latest version.

I’ve done some further testing and found the issue is only appearing on my Chrome browser? Any idea why that could be? I don’t have any funny extensions installed at all. Your advice would really be appreciated.

    Hello,

Please make sure that you updated and using most recent version of the Chrome browser and try to check with incognito mode. Also, try to create new Meeting and check this meeting with incognito mode

Hi there. I’m joining this thread as I experienced the same issue during an event last night, with the same error message pop-up and the same console error.

I can confirm using the latest version of the eRoom plugin, and on the latest version of Chrome. I can also confirm that this functionality was working before, so something has changed:

Chrome – Join via Zoom App : ?
    Chrome – Join in browser : ?
Edge – Join via Zoom App : ?
    Edge – Join in browser : ?

So this appears to be a Chrome to Zoom via the SDK issue. Any path to solution would be greatly apricated. For the moment I’m just going to turn off the join in browser options for Chrome users (well hide the button via CSS).

Thanks for joining, glad to see I’m not the only one and I hope we can get to the bottom of this issue.

I can also confirm I am on the latest version of Chrome and eroom plugin.

I’ve received the exact same results as you with Edge and Chrome.

Please make sure that you updated Chrome browser and try to check by temporary deactivating Chrome extensions

I have now got this working once again. I expect the issue might be that vendor.js is was getting cached or in some way not pulling the latest version from the server.

@nickedeveloper If you have any caching on your site, it will be worth clearing it all to ensure the latest js is being pulled into the page.

Hi thanks for your feedback. Yeah I think it has to do with caching as mine also works now and I didn’t change anything. So I will be making some caching adjustments.

Hi am having this issue again after the latest update. It seems this issue keeps popping up after every plugin update? I had no Caching plugin installed on the website. I now installed a caching plugin and cleared the cache and tested joining a webinar on browser on multiple different devices and browsers.

How can this be fixed and how can I prevent this from happening again? I have a webinar scheduled for next Monday and am worried that people won’t be able to join at all again.
