JointsWP for beginners?

I’m looking to using JointsWP. I’m a relative beginner when it comes to WP, php, css and html5. Have played around with a few WP themes, done some php/html handcoding in Brackets so not completely useless. I’m having a hard time getting my head around JointsWP SASS/CSS implementations, I’m sure it’s not rocket science but it’s just getting a start. I’tried looking for beginners tutorials for using JointsWP and implementing it’s features but to no avail. Did find stuff for Zurb Foundation 5 tutorials but outside of the WP environment. Does anyone have any suggestions that would help, would be much appreciated ??
